Built by a contractor who got tired of paperwork

JobGantry didn't come out of a software lab. It came off a job site — built by an electrical contractor to fix the paperwork that was eating his margin.

The founder's story

I'm an electrical contractor. For years I ran my jobs the way most of us do — paper time cards, handwritten POs, a glovebox full of supplier invoices, and a bookkeeper who told me how a job went a month after it was done. The work was good. The paperwork was bleeding me.

I tried the big construction software. It was built for companies that already had a full office to run it — too heavy, too expensive, too many screens for a crew that just needed to clock in and get paid. So I built the thing I actually wanted: one app that takes the clipboard, the carbon-copy ticket, and the shoebox of receipts, and turns them into numbers I can see while the job is still running.

That's JobGantry. It's not software for software's sake — it's the tool I wished I'd had on every job, now built for any trade still running on paper.
